Assists in planning, organising, coordinating and supervising activities of respective department so as to cost effectively provide quality service to guests in line with the hotel standard.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plans short and long term objectives in accordance with the Immediate Superior
- Assists in organising the department according to management directives, in conformity to the hotel policies, procedures and standards.
- Assists in planning, coordinating, controlling and supervising of the departmental activities.
- Assists in setting up/ or reviewing of the Departmental SOP’s.
- Adheres to and ensures compliance of the Hotel’s Rules and Regulations, Standards and Procedures.
- Consults occupancy list and forecast lists and plans accordingl
- Deals with complaints and initiates remedial actions to satisfy guest
Qualifications and profile:
• Certificate or equivalent,
• At least 3 years’ experience at supervisory level
• Have a pleasant and outgoing personality,
• Be able to demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills,
• Computer literate,
• Fluent in both English and French,
• Readiness to work odd hours, including Sundays, Public Holidays and cyclonic days.
