Storekeeper

Exotic Group is recruiting a Storekeeper.

The Storekeeper will be responsible for the store activities requiring knowledge of procedures related to the receipt, storage and requisition of supplies and materials along with supervisory techniques and personnel management.

Job Duties:
• Maintain receipts, records and withdrawal from the store; ensuring that all items are properly accounted for and requisitioned.
• Prepare reports and correspondence related to store activities.
• Oversee storekeepers, delegating tasks and ensuring proper work allocation.
• Plans, organizes, directs and controls store operations.
• Maintain neatness and tidiness of the store.
• Liaise with related departments to provide information on stock status as required.
• Determine items and quantities of stock to be purchased and maintained.
• Conduct Inventory audits and resolve discrepancies in requisitions, purchase orders and delivery reports.
• Maintains catalogs of available stock items.t

Job Qualifications:
• Holder of a Higher School Certificate
• NTC 3 with a strong Technical and Maintenance Background (Plumbing, electrical, air conditioning...)
• At least 5 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control and record-keeping
• Possession a valid driver’s license
• Certificate of Character

Attributes:
• Solid knowledge of bookkeeping, warehouse management and inventory management.
• Familiarity with best practices in store and warehouse environments and ability to operate office equipment.
• Computer literate and posses analytical mind with ability to make mathematical computations and hands on competencies in data entry and data analysis.
• Organised, with ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines, and capable to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent administration skills with high level of integrity and a can do attitude.

Physical Requirements:
The role requires bending, reaching, stooping, standing as well as lifting and moving heavy objects.

Working hours:
Available to work from Monday to Friday as from 7:30 am till 5:15pm and after working hours when required.
