The United Basalt Products Limited is looking to recruit a motivated Social Media Executive who will report to the Group Communications Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Management
- Develop and execute a social media strategy aligned with the company’s marketing and business objectives.
- Manage and maintain the company’s social media accounts
- Create and maintain a content calendar for regular and strategic posting.
- Monitor industry trends, competitors, and social media best practices.
Content Creation & Management
- Write, edit, and publish engaging content (posts, articles, stories, videos, infographics).
- Work closely with designers and videographers to produce high-quality visual content.
- Implement innovative formats to maximize engagement.
- Optimize content for SEO to increase visibility.
Community Management
- Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and interactions proactively.
- Monitor and moderate discussions to maintain a positive brand reputation.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track social media performance and provide analytical reports (engagement, reach, conversions, etc.).
- Recommend improvements based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Utilize analytics tools such as Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and Hootsuite to optimize strategies.
Candidate profile:
- Degree in Digital Marketing, Communication or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management,
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and management tools (Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok for Business, etc.).
- Knowledge of digital trends and social media algorithms.
- Excellent copywriting skills tailored to different platforms.
- Basic understanding of SEO, SEA, and paid social advertising.
- Familiarity with design and video editing tools (Canva, Photoshop etc) is a plus.
- Creativity and a strong sense of aesthetics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
