JOB SUMMARY The porter is responsible to welcome and farewell guest, deliver luggage, provide information and ensuring a high standard of service at all time. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure a high level of service and assistance to all arriving and in-house guests.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To handle guest luggage on arrival, departure and during stay in an efficient manner.
- Provides any required information on the hotel’s products and services to guests.
- Guides guests towards service outlets as and when requested.
- Converses with guests, whenever possible, to obtain feedback and suggestion for improvement.
- Answers telephone calls in FO area when requested
- Parks guests’ and visitors’ cars when requested
- Unloads guests’ luggage from vehicle and fills-in and attaches luggage tags for identification
- Keeps record and is responsible for all luggage and other items kept in luggage room/luggage store.
JOB REQUIREMENTSAt least 1 year in Tourism/Hospitality IndustryValid Driving License is an advantageMorality CertificateWell-Groomed and good appearance Communicate effectively in English & French Ability to work in a team and under pressure Positive Attitude
