Senior Stock Controller

Rey & Lenferna Ltd is looking for a Senior Stock Controller to maintain the company’s stock inventories to meet business requirements in the accounting department.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing all inventory control and related activities of store, project sites and consignees.
• Monitor stock to prevent overstocking and shortage.
• Ensure a FIFO stock management system.
• Ensure spacious and efficient layout of the store.
• Ensure that we have adequate insurance cover for our stock.
• Prepare and issue Stock report to Management on a regular basis.
• Conduct regular inventory verification and raise concern to store/management for any discrepancy.
• Ensure that discrepancies, if any, are being reported, followed-up and actions taken.
• Effectively manage a team for perpetual/spot stock count for Rey & Lenferna group.
• Ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency — aiming at customer satisfaction — by supervising, organising, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals.
• Assist the Store Team to supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.
• Meet regularly with Store Supervisors to consider productivity and develop actionable plans for loss prevention.

Knowledge, Skills and Attitude:

• A Degree in Accounting / Business Management.
• ACCA Level 2.
• Minimum of 5 years in Stock control management.
• Strong knowledge in: Stock Movement, Store Management and Inventory Principles.
• Planning and organization to set targets / milestones and follow through on commitments.
• Able to communicate well and collaborate with all levels of staff and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis.
• Communication skills - verbal and written.
• Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports.
• Ability to manage a team.
• Reliable and trustworthy.
