Senior Software Developer

You will be working on our ground-breaking solution that helps companies leverage their existing assets by adopting a true HCM platform that easily integrates with their internal systems, extending their investment in Dayforce.

As a senior developer on our Integrations team, you will be working on our ground-breaking solution that helps companies leverage their existing assets by adopting a true HCM platform that easily integrates with their internal systems, extending their investment in Dayforce.

 What you’ll get to do

• You will also support our internal stakeholders by simplifying client implementations and driving efficiencies in the services organization, through the development of supporting APIs.
• Your impact will be evident through your effective participation in the entire lifecycle of our software including design, analysis, prototyping, development, testing and support of our products.
• You will work closely and collaborate with clients, prospects, implementation partners, and Dayforce personnel to envision and deliver the required functionality.
• You will be conducting code reviews of peer work and mentoring other developers.

 Duties include but are not limited to:

• Creating microservices
• Hands on development with C#, SQL, and Azure
• API Development
• Participate in research, design, development for new initiatives.
• Daily scrum activities
• Team and individual development projects

 Skills and experience we value

• University level Computer science or computer engineering degree or equivalent
• 4+ years of experience with C# and .NET Framework
• Proficiency with T-SQL and an understanding of relational database systems
• Experience with public cloud infrastructure such as Azure
• Demonstrable knowledge of modern web technologies including HTML 5, CSS 3, JSON, GraphQL etc.
• Deep knowledge of object-oriented design and development

• Experience building highly performant and scalable applications.
• Experience with Kafka and pub / sub related tools
• Experienced working in an Agile scrum team as a key contributor and a team player
• Able to consistently solve complex technical issues independently when required.
