Senior Site Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee construction sites, including legal, administrative and financial/gestion management, ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures.
- Provide support to team in managing relationships with the different stakeholder.
- Validate the project baseline (“Budget point zéro”) and monitor its progress.
- Supervise, motivate, and train teams in order to optimize organisation.
- Ensure compliance with contractual commitments.
- Act as a source of proposals, offering alternatives and variations as needed.
- Guarantee the quality of the works delivered.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in leading a project as the primary point of responsibility, either in road or building construction.
- Experience managing the design phase with internal and external teams.
- Strong experience in client-facing roles and managing client relationships.
- Extensive experience in financial and contractual management within projects.
- Solid technical and geotechnical knowledge in the construction field.
Reporting Line:
- Reports directly to the Operation Manager.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, specialising in building construction.
- Several years of proven experience in the construction field are highly recommended.
Scope of Responsibility:
- Technical – Budgetary – Managerial – Contractual – Legal.
- Legal and Commercial Knowledge:
- General legal knowledge, including criminal risk, public procurement codes (dispute management, subcontracting markets), and labour legislation.
- Strong commercial skills, including client relations and negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.
Management Expertise:
- Experience in managing claims and disputes (FIDIC, NFP, market codes, contract law, labour codes).
- Financial and human resource management skill.
