Our Client in the Global Business is seeking a Senior Executive-Onboarding. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the onboarding process, company incorporations, and bank account openings while working closely with the Business Development team.

Job purpose

The role will consist of managing the onboarding (CRA), incorporation and opening of bank account for BD team and work alongside Business Development Executives/Business Development Managers and ensure incorporation/ account opening/ uploading of documents done in a timely manner. Liaise with compliance teams to make sure that onboarding and -Client Acceptance Committee are done in timely manners. Preparation of handing over of client files to administrative team. Use of the CRM to capture all work done.

The role will also consist of coaching trainees and assist/guide as required for them to be able to perform the tasks assigned seamlessly.

Main responsibilities

  • Liaise with sales team and clients to collect all required documents to complete onboarding pack.
  • Reviewing of due diligence documentation of clients, perform compliance checks and prepare the client risk assessment(CRA) prior to submission to the secretary of the client acceptance committee - and ensuring adherence to Company policies, procedures and legal requirements.
  • Presenting the client file to the client acceptance committee.
  • Setting up of Global Business Companies, Trusts, Funds, Foundations, Foreign Companies Limited Partners, Activity Licenses, Local Companies and all related duties pertaining thereto.
  • Assisting opening of bank accounts for newly incorporated companies or corporate and any related services (application for cards/Internet Banking & personal account).
  • Application for Occupation and Residency Permit, Permanent Residence and appointment with Economic Development Board (as and when required).
  • Liaising with authorities (Registrar of Companies, Financial Services Commission of Mauritius – EDB (as and when required) and Banks.
  • Ensuring all information regarding companies, Trust, Limited Partner, Foundation incorporated are kept updated on Company’s software.
  • Ensuring quality of documents for incorporation and opening of bank accounts.
  • Ensuring proper follow up with authorities and banks are done as and when required.
  • Ensuring files for new incorporation are handed over to Administration in a timely manner.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Holder of a relevant degree (e.g. University Graduate in Law, Management, Finance, Economy or Accounting).
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant working experience in a similar position or administration in the Global Business sector.
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Good communication skills
