Senior Business Systems Consultant

Responsibilities

• Understanding and translating the business needs of the Group’s companies into application systems, in collaboration with various stakeholders.
• Analyzing business processes within the Group and proposing projects to enhance these processes through new technology or modifications to existing applications.
• Leading the implementation of projects related to new applications or changes to existing ones, adhering to industry best practices and project management methodologies, with the aim of successful completion within the defined scope, time and budget.
• Ensuring all tasks are performed in accordance with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and company/department policies, procedures and guidelines.
• The analysis of business requirements and the definition of a feasible solution to address the requirements through the acquisition of new applications or changes to existing applications
• The configuration and testing of either newly acquired technologies, products and services or changes to existing production systems.
• The documentation of systems deployed and review of project implementation.
• The routine tasks required to ensure the operation of production systems to the highest levels of performance, confidentiality, integrity, availability and security as well as the resolution of issues arising.
• Providing help to other team members and deputise for them when necessary.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science or Systems Analysis or Business Administration with emphasis on Information Systems or equivalent
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position

Skills & Competencies

• Proficient with ERP systems, Navision preferred
• Proficient with business intelligence tools
• Proficient with documentation/analysis of business processes and/or functional requirements
• Expertise in diagnosing the underlying causes of complex issues and implementing long-term solutions.
