You shall be responsible for leading audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant standards. You shall also be responsible for coaching junior staffs and working closely with the rest of the audit staffs to ensure that audits are completed efficiently.

 

Job Descriptions and Responsibilities:

  • Lead audits for a range of clients from small to medium sized entities ranging from the offshore sector to domestic companies.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the audit process.
  • Supervise and review the work of junior auditors, providing on-the-job training, feedback, and support to enhance their technical and professional development.
  • Coordinate with other team members, clients, and relevant departments to ensure the audit process runs smoothly, on time, and within budget.
  • Prepare / review financial statements in conformity with IFRS and IAS.
  • Provide clients with technical advice on accounting issues, financial reporting, and where applicable, regulatory compliance.
  • Any other work-related matters.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of audit experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and International Accounting Standards (IASs).
  • Client-focused with a proactive approach.
  • Good communication skills in English and French, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
