To assist in audit field works and correspondence and liaise with clients in connection with auditing.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Assumes responsibility for general administration of audit assignments for medium sized audit clients;
- Responsible for audit planning/staff allocation and assignment time monitoring;
- Reviews overall audit work;
- Ensures that accounting treatments/contentious matters are properly documented in the audit work papers;
- Is involved in significant audit decisions in conjunction with the manager and engagement partner;
- Assesses technical training needs of staff members in conjunction with the engagement partner;
- Conducts on going staff assessments and reports to Managers/Team Leaders and Engagement partner;
- Ensures that audit assignments adhere to ISQC/firm’s quality control Procedures, IFRS and ISAs;
- Conducts technical lectures;
- Explore business opportunities with existing/potential contacts; and
- Any other work related matters.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Auditing
- Experience in supervising and coaching junior members of staff
Qualification:
- Degree in Accounting Business or Finance
- Partly or Fully ACCA/ACA qualified
