Manage client portfolio: monitor sales figures per Brand on a yearly and monthly basis,

 

Responsibilities

1.Retain present customers (build up relationship with clients).

2.Manage client portfolio: monitor sales figures per Brand on a yearly and monthly basis, identify client’s needs,

•Listing of actual and new item lines within product portfolio. Focus on Strategic Brands and Game Changers.

•Monitor debtors, credit terms and limits within a sound risk assessment.

•Identify and seize opportunities available for development

•Monitor merchandising: visibility and respect of clauses as per deal and trade visits reports from Management.

•Plan, organise, Implement on Trade activities followed by appropriate debrief & Reporting according to company’s standards and guidelines.

3.Maintain profitability by using expenses efficiently and monitoring expenses (discount, advertising/donation, vehicle and petrol usage)

4.Provide excellent customer service:

5.Follow-up on deliveries returns and refunds (Order taking done by Retail Sales Merchandisers). Client’s stock levels remain Senior Sales Representative’s responsibility.

6.Ensure that all customers are being visited as per scheduled route

7.Be pro-active to potential problems and find solutions to handle clients’ complaints.

9.Report market activity to management.

10.Demonstrate team spirit and commitment towards company objectives, team members including Trade Marketers, merchandisers and any other stakeholder involved in the selling process.

Education/Competence

•Degree in Business Administration or Marketing + relevant experience in the Sales function
•Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel & PowerPoint)
•Fluent in English, French and Creole
•Dynamic, service-minded, organised and team-spirit oriented
•Positive, professional, and energetic attitude
•Accountability, versatility and adaptability
•Excellent interpersonal skills
•Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
•Commercial temperament and a taste for challenge
•Be agile and demonstrate propensity to challenge the Status-Quo
