The Sales Officer is responsible to support the business development team for growing the company’s revenues and profitability by contributing to the achievement of sales objectives.
Specific Responsibilities
- Becoming familiar and conversant with Sales Prospecting as per the SGS policies and procedures.
- Promoting all service offerings within SGS.
- Sells services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects, recommending solutions.
- Handling and follow up customer requests.
- Implement sales plan and prepare sales reports, supported by KPI’s.
- Ensure targets for proposals, client’s visits, sales of new clients and sales revenue are achieved.
- Appropriate use and handling of Client Data/Proposal/Service Offer Worksheets.
- Promote the image, capability, and integrity of SGS to our clients.
- Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by direct line manager.
Profile
- Degree/Diploma in Sales and/or Marketing and/or Business Administration or equivalent.
- 2+ years of sales experience.
- Excellent verbal and written skills. (English/French)
