Our client in the food sector is seeking to recruit a Sales Coordinator to support the sales team to ensure the smooth execution of sales operations and enhance customer satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities:

Administrative Tasks:
  • Prepare sales-related documents which includes, but not limited to, quotes, proposals, and contracts.
  • Managing schedules and setting up appointments for sales meetings.
  • Preparing sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for the sales team or management.

Customer Support:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns, directing them to the appropriate team if needed, and ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and effectively resolved.

Sales Strategy and Execution:
  • Develop and implement sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Present, promote, and sell the company's products/services to existing and potential customers.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals.
  • Assisting in market research to identify sales trends and customer preferences.
  • Gather customer feedback and relaying it to the sales teams to refine offerings.

Sales Team Coordination:
  • Ensure the sales team has the necessary tools, resources, and information to perform their roles effectively.
  • Manage leads and assign them to the appropriate sales representatives.
  • Monitoring sales targets, monitor debtor collections and to provide regular updates to the team.
  • Conveying and ensure that all instructions from the Head of Sales are followed.
 
  • Any cognate duties that may be assigned by Management.
 
Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field desirable.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Holder of a valid driving licence prefered.
