Our client in the food sector is seeking to recruit a Sales Coordinator to support the sales team to ensure the smooth execution of sales operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Administrative Tasks:
- Prepare sales-related documents which includes, but not limited to, quotes, proposals, and contracts.
- Managing schedules and setting up appointments for sales meetings.
- Preparing sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for the sales team or management.
Customer Support:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns, directing them to the appropriate team if needed, and ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and effectively resolved.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Present, promote, and sell the company's products/services to existing and potential customers.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals.
- Assisting in market research to identify sales trends and customer preferences.
- Gather customer feedback and relaying it to the sales teams to refine offerings.
Sales Team Coordination:
- Ensure the sales team has the necessary tools, resources, and information to perform their roles effectively.
- Manage leads and assign them to the appropriate sales representatives.
- Monitoring sales targets, monitor debtor collections and to provide regular updates to the team.
- Conveying and ensure that all instructions from the Head of Sales are followed.
- Any cognate duties that may be assigned by Management.
Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field desirable.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Holder of a valid driving licence prefered.
