Responsible for the maintenance of storeroom of the Engineering department, performing activities such as stocking of operational materials and supplies, inventory control and records, and related duties as required.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Unpack, label, and store incoming goods in designated locations.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and transactions .
- Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels..
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and warehouse procedures.
- Keep the storearea clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks and duties as assigned
Requirement:
- Minimum School Certificate
- Computer Literate
- Good communication skills
- Clean Certificate of Character
- Proven experience in a similar role is preferred
- Previous experience in hardware will be an advantage
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- bility to lift and carry items of moderate weight.
