To be responsible of entries and issues from the stores such as Food, Beverage, Printing & Stationary, Chemicals, Cleaning & Guest supplies
1) ensure that all issues from the stores are well documented as per hotel policy.
2) To ensure that all stores are kept in order and clean at all times.
3) To check on daily basis the minimum stock levels and prepares the proper purchase request for the related Department Heads to purchase on time to avoid the shortages.
4) To ensure that all the items kept in the stores are ready and in a good shape to consume, none of them has an expired date of usage or spoiled. To inform the Cost Controller on time regarding the spoiled or expired store items.
5) To ensure that all store items are carrying updated bin-cards or meat-tags at all times.
6) To participate with the accounting team to do the physical inventories of the stores every end of the month.
7) To work very closely with other Supervisor or Department Heads related to his/ her job such as Food & Beverage Manager, Executive Chef, and Purchasing Manager.
8) Contributes to the morale and team spirit of the hotel by maintaining effective relationships with hotel colleagues.
9) Makes appropriate suggestions and recommendations to supervisors for the general improvement of the hotel.
10) Performs any additional duties as directed by supervisors.
11) Is fully conversant with all health and safety, fire and emergency procedures.
12) Maintains a high standard of personal hygiene, dress, uniform and body language.
13) Is polite and professional in any situation where the image or reputation of the hotel is represented.
14) Attends meetings and training as required by supervisors.
15) Ensure that all activities are carried out honestly, ethically and within the parameters of local Law.
