If you're seeking an opportunity to contribute to a collaborative and professional environment, we have an exciting opening for you as a SENIOR TRUST ACCOUNTANT - PRIVATE CLIENT.

Role Overview:

As an integral team member, your primary focus will be to efficiently execute assigned tasks at a high standard, ensuring the seamless delivery of services. Embrace the opportunity to work independently, effectively managing your workload.

In this hybrid role (3 days in the office and 2 days remote at the manager's discretion), you will provide accountancy services to a significant portfolio of private client structures/entities for a single large-volume client. Your responsibilities will encompass traditional accounting tasks, including reconciliation, bookkeeping, trial balance preparation, financial statement preparation, and review. Additionally, you will engage in activities such as bank statement sourcing, valuation input, and monthly valuation generation. Given our team's utilization of technology to automate certain bookkeeping activities, you will also oversee/reconcile automated processes.

Qualification

  • Fully or Partly ACCA qualified
  • BCom or Accounting Diploma

Skills and experience required:

  • Experience with Trusts
  • Understanding of risk management principles
  • High numeracy skills and accuracy
  • Meticulous focus on details
  • Robust analytical capabilities
  • Good IT skills - proficiency in Excel is essential.
  • Minimum of 1 year in a similar role

Job description: 

  • Maintain information in key systems, covering bank statements, transactions, valuations, bookkeeping, or accounting records for a portfolio of clients.
  • Compile data for clients, covering portfolio specifics, valuations, bookkeeping, trial balances, financial statements, and/or liquidation accounts.
  • Oversee tasks related to more intricate entities/areas.
  • Raise and resolve queries promptly, liaising with other team members or the client to ensure timely resolution of matters within required deadlines.
  • Provide support to junior team members and the team Manager as and when required.
  • Engage proactively in client calls/meetings to address arising issues and monitor progress against set schedules.
  • Perform any other duties deemed necessary by Management.
