The Lux Collective is hiring for the position of Sales Consultant at its Regional Headquarters based at Two Tribeca, Trianon
MAIN DUTIES:
Reporting to the Client Services Manager, the incumbent will be responsible to:
- Contribute to the maximisation of rooms’ revenue through adequate selling techniques.
- Maintain and enhance a constant and proactive relationship with existing clients in order to drive sales and identify new business opportunities.
- Build sustainable relations and engage clients by taking the extra mile and to improve our retention rate.
- Actively participate in the upselling of all our resorts and hotels facilities to the clients whilst providing the highest levels of customer service.
- Respond accurately in a courteous and professional manner to the clients’ queries via the chat-online service.
- Coordinate and ensure good communication is maintained throughout the sales process.
- Liaise with the resorts in order to provide accurate and relevant information about arrivals of Guests.
- Maintain and improve quality results by adhering to The Lux Collective policies and procedures.
- Manage inbound calls and respond to emails in a timely manner.
- Identify clients’ needs and seize the opportunities to upsell when they arise.
- Maintain updated knowledge of all The Lux Collective hotels’ portfolio in order to provide adequate information to the clients.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least a Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualifications.
- Tertiary Education at Advanced Certificate or Diploma Level majoring in Tourism Management or related fields from a recognised institution or equivalent qualifications.
PREVIOUS PERFORMANCE
- A minimum of 2 years of working experience in a customer service environment preferably in the hospitality industry.

- Excellent telephone skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French languages. A third language will be a definite advantage.
- Sound knowledge of Fidelio Opera.
- Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office Package.
- Willingness to work during odd hours, weekends and on Public Holidays.
- A clean certificate of character is a must.
