Best Fit Ltd is hiring a Receptionist/Cashier.
MAIN FUNCTION:
- To attend promptly and courteously to all incoming and outgoing calls
- Receive and process payments and issue receipts to customers
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive incoming calls and direct to the appropriate recipients.
- Record and communicate messages left by customers to employees who were out of office or away from their desks.
- Attend to customers’ various queries, such as tyre dimensions, stock availability, …
- Manage the appointment calendar.
- Perform outgoing call upon staff and managers requests and respond to callback requests.
- Process payments, prepare receipts and keep records of all transactions.
- In line with established procedures, prepare daily sales records, remit daily sales proceeds to the accounting department and ensure that information recorded in the banking lodgement book are accurate.
- Report immediately any cash till discrepancies to Management.
- Abide to all legal requirements in relation to Anti-Money Laundering policy enforced by the local legislation/company policy.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Higher School Certificate
- At least 05 years’ experience in a similar position
- Any relevant higher professional qualification would constitute an advantage
COMPETENCIES & SKILLS:
- Excellent communication skills
- Great team player
- Positive attitude and strong customer focus
- Meticulous and strong planning and organizational skills
- IT proficient; experience of a Management System to process payments would be a definite advantage
