Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the BRCGS, HACCP and Quality Systems.
- Perform internal audits as per the Quality Management System.
- Release and follow up production reports and approval of quality control documents.
- Validate new packaging or packaging design changes.
- Ensure that all information on customer, raw material, quality and finished product specifications are updated.
- Validate the quality of incoming raw materials and despatched finished products.
- Liaise with customers and suppliers for product development, compliance and complaints.
- Develop, implement and maintain the Quality & Food Safety Culture and the Food Defense Program.
- Validate consumables and raw materials prior to their purchase and verify Bar Codes.
Qualification & Competencies:
- A bachelor’s degree in Food Science or any other similar field.
- Having knowledge and ample experience in business administration is advantageous.
- Adequate training and experience in BRCGS and HACCP standards.
- Experience in devising and reviewing project plans, documents, and specifications.
- Comprehensive understanding of quality control standards and legal standards.
- Strong knowledge of data analysis, mathematics, and statistical techniques.
- Previous experience in manufacturing and production processes.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, time-management, and leadership skills.
- Must possess technical expertise in their domain.
- Must be detailed oriented at work.
