The QHSE (Quality, Health & Safety and Environment) Assistant will support the QHSE team to ensure all quality, health, safety and environmental initiatives are compliant with the QHSE policies established by Transinvest Construction Ltd.
Main Job Responsibilities
- Draft documents and circulate for approvals as required by the QHSE programs
-Ensure that the policies are implemented consistently at the workplace
- Ensures Departmental Managers and Project sites receive relevant QHSE document packages
-Carry out regular audits for place of work to identify risks
- Maintains and updates Logs of Quality, Health and Safety, Environment management programs
- Prepare and compile periodic Quality, Health and Safety, Environment management system reports
- Assist in the planning Quality, Health and Safety, Environment management audits
- Follow up on implementation of action plans and update required electronic systems
Other relevant duties assigned by the direct and/or functional managers
Profile / Job Skills
- Diploma / Degree in Chemical / Environmental Engineering
- Experience as a Quality Controller or Quality Coordinator desirable
- Knowledge of management systems standards -ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong computer skills and proficient with MS office package including MS Visio
-Ability to follow up and meet deadlines
