Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions for various interior and exterior fit-out projects.
• Review, check, and prepare bills of quantities in line with drawings and specifications.
• Measure from drawings and take off quantities.
• Prepare and manage valuation certificates based on site measurements.
• Finalise final accounts with subcontractors and contractors.
• Negotiate with various contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other construction professionals.
• Report anomalies related to cost and supply of materials on-site, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Track changes in project scope, adjusting budget projections and pricing variations accordingly.
• Request quotations, tenders, and proposals from suppliers, subcontractors, and contractors, ensuring subsequent follow-ups.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards through proactive cost control and risk management.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in cost management, preferably within the construction or fit-out industry.
• Proficient in construction cost estimation, contract negotiation, and financial reporting.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player.
• Knowledge of the latest construction practices, materials, and cost trends.
