SGS is hiring a Quality Coordinator.

The primary responsibility of the Quality Coordinator is the implementation, support, and management of practices for assuring that processes adhere to specifications and standards and ensure that customer’s expectations are met.

Specific Responsibilities : 

  • Promote a positive Quality Culture in the Organisation.
  • Assist Business Managers in meeting Quality Objectives and adhering to established Quality procedures.
  • Assist QHSE Manager for the maintenance and implementation of the Laboratory management system; in line with the requirements of ISO / IEC 17025, Accreditation body requirements and SGS Global Requirements.
  • Assist QHSE Manager for the maintenance and implementation of the Inspection management system; in line with the requirements of ISO / IEC 17020, Accreditation body requirements and SGS Global Requirements.
  • Reports performance of the laboratory management system to the QHSE Manager.
  • Reports performance of the Inspection management system to the QHSE Manager.
  • Implement and enforce the applicable Good Lab Practices.
  • Ensure that the system documentation is well communicated, understood and implemented by everyone.
  • Help to deal with customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Take corrective and preventive actions based on customer’s opinions / complaints and performance standards.
  • Perform vertical audit to verify that results given are accurate and reported as per standards and customer’s requirements; and ensure that they had been delivered on due time.
  • Perform Internal Audits.
  • Ensure that all proposed corrective actions are completed as planned and are effective in reducing possible repeat recurrences of the non-conformity.
  • Provide training and support to the staffs, where applicable.
Profile : 
  • Graduate level of studies in Scientific or Quality Management
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in related fields
  • Familiar with international standards, such as ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17020, ISO 9001 etc.
  • Familiar with related testing knowledge

  • Good leadership skills.

  • Able to coordinate and motivate
  • Able to build trust, respect and confidentiality
  • Acts quickly and decisively; able to make tough calls
  • Computer literacy
