Public Area Supervisor - Paradis Beachcomber

Job Responsibilities:

Supervises and motivates a team of cleaning staff, ensuring efficient and effective performance.
Schedules and assigns daily cleaning tasks, ensuring all areas are covered.
Inspects public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure adherence to cleanliness standards.
Maintains accurate records of inspections, cleaning schedules, and inventory.
Identifies and reports any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
Ensures proper handling and storage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Responds promptly to guest requests and complaints related to cleanliness.
Works closely with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations.

Candidate Profile:

Higher School Certificate or equivalent;
HND in Hospitality Management or Equivalent from a recognized Institution;
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a hotel housekeeping or cleaning environment.
Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and train a team.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Able and willing to perform odd hours of work including Sundays, public holidays and cyclonic days;
Fluent in written and spoken English and French.
