The successful candidate will ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services. This role demands exceptional coordination skills to align procurement with project timelines and client expectations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Collaborate with the technical sales team to align on client requirements and project specifications.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between sales, procurement teams, and clients.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Supplier and Order Management:

  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure optimal deals.
  • Address issues related to orders, deliveries, or quality in coordination with the sales team and suppliers.
  • Ensure timely and accurate procurement, tracking all orders and deliveries.
  • Verify procured items meet required quality standards and specifications.

Quality Assurance and Inspection:

  • Manage inspection and testing processes for incoming materials and equipment.
  • Handle sample deliveries and gather client feedback to ensure satisfaction.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain thorough records of procurement activities (contracts, purchase orders, delivery schedules).
  • Generate regular reports on procurement status, budget compliance, and supplier performance.

Risk Management:

  • Identify risks in procurement and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Address potential issues impacting procurement timelines or budgets proactively.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in project procurement or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
