Reporting directly to the Head of Operational Excellence & Specialised Lab, the Project Officer will play a crucial role in driving efficiency, innovation, and growth across our laboratory chain. We are seeking a Project Officer to address operational IT issues and support sustainability efforts.
What you will be doing:
- Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
- Manage cross-functional teams to drive project success, maintaining clear communication and collaboration.
- Coordinate IT applications and equipment integration to enhance system performance and efficiency.
- Lead innovation initiatives, identifying opportunities for new technologies and process improvements.
- Develop and track project timelines, budgets, and key performance metrics.
- Lead BI and analytics efforts by designing and maintaining clear dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights, supporting informed decision-making and continuous organizational improvement.
- Support sustainability efforts through project planning and implementation.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement through regular updates, workshops, and feedback sessions to ensure project alignment and foster a collaborative environment.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Laboratory Technology, or a related science field.
- Proven experience in managing projects and addressing operational challenges.
- Experience in the laboratory or healthcare industry is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Advanced certifications in project management or IT systems integration are a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders and partners.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
