Medine Group is seeking a Project Manager to oversee real estate projects from concept to completion. Key responsibilities include budget management, timeline coordination, and stakeholder communication. Ideal candidate has strong organizational skills and experience in property development.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and implementing procurement strategies and execution plans to meet project objectives, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, and quality standards. You will coordinate and monitor specific projects, driving them toward successful completion within defined parameters. This role involves:
Conception and implementation of projects
• Responsible for the project scheduling and project appraisal.
• Management of projects including administrative tasks
Coordination and Technical work
• Participate in value engineering exercises with QS and contractor.
• Advise on selection of outside suppliers (engineers, QS, contractors…)
• Participate and advise on problem solving of projects.
• Liaise with selected suppliers and authorities on the technical aspect of project.
• Setting up of operational budget, operational structure and make cost control
Monitoring of contractors
• Develop sourcing and procurement strategies in line with the company objectives, and ensure maximum total cost value are delivered.
• Prepare conditions for use on all project purchase documents.
• Prepare, develop and implement procurement project plan.
• Secure savings in line with projects targets.
• Limit and mitigate company’s risk.
Negotiation
• Prepare and implement the appropriate negotiation strategy.
• Negotiate and manage all major materials and suppliers across a portfolio of projects.
• Plan and lead negotiations to develop supply agreements and performance-based contracts.
• Develop and maintain excellent relationship with key strategic major suppliers to provide the maximum utilization of their expertise, ideas and method to achieve best value
Monitoring
• Lead the monitoring, improvement, and issue resolutions surrounding agreements.
• Monitor all project procurement activities (requisitioning, bidder list, call for tender, commercial bid tabulation, terms and conditions, purchase order etc…) against an established procurement plan, to assure project objectives including schedule, cost and quality is met.
• Monitor project procurement expenditures to ensure operations are within approved budget.
• Monitor supplier’s performance, in line with project objectives.
Team Collaboration
• Work collaboratively with other project team members, in defining and developing the scope of procurement work, and in preparing and coordinating estimates, forecast and budget.
• Develop, coordinate and make procurement presentation to project team.
• Report on procurement statistics and provide status updates, progress report etc
Administration
• Compile the technical and commercial bid comparisons.
• Keep an up-to-date approved vendors and suppliers list.
• Keep a clear and up-to-date filing
Minimum experience requirements
• Degree in Project Management or any other related field
Minimum experience requirements
• 5-8 years of related experience, preferably in the construction industry
