Production Officer (2447-POFF)

Our client in the farming sector is seeking to recruit a Production Officer who will report to the Production Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, lead, organise and control production in the secondary sections in order to meet production/organisational targets.
• Drive and manage production lines so as to achieve production targets while optimizing available resources including the human resources within your production team.
• Ensure agreed decisions are implemented optimally to maximise company interests.
• Calculate and monitor productivity index for the sections within the department.
• Ensure that ISO & HACCP, as well as internal procedures are rigorously respected.

Profile:

• Degree in Food Science/Operations/Production Management.
• At least 5 years work experience in a similar position would be an advantage.
• Reliable & dynamic with a positive attitude.
• Health & Safety and Quality conscious.
• Be able to work odd hours, on Sundays and Public Holidays if needed.
• Meticulous and well organised.
• Team player, trustworthy and strong leadership skills.
• Good mastery of MS Office.
• Promoter for animal welfare.
