Job Overview:
The Planning Officer will support the Planning Manager by compiling and analyzing data to plan textile orders for production. This role involves close monitoring and updating of production statuses, ensuring alignment with the production plan, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Planning Manager in gathering and organizing data required for planning textile orders
- Support the development and execution of production schedules, ensuring all processes are aligned with the overall production plan
- Follow up on the production status regularly, ensurung that progress is on track as per the plan
- Maintain and update records related to production planning, ensuring accuracy and accessibility
- Collaborate with various department, including the sewing, knitting, and dyeing, to ensure smooth execution of the production plan
- Prepare and present regular updates and KPI on production status to the Planning Manager
- Assist in identifying and addressing any issues that may arise during the planning or production process
- Contribute to process improvement by analysing current workflow and suggesting improvement
Qualifications:
- HSC with Mathematics
- Familiarity with planning processes in sewing, knitting or dyeing is preferred
Skills:
- COmputer Literate
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with different teams
- Detail -oriented
- Ability to work in team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
