Planning & Logistics
The job incumbent shall be responsible to oversee all planning and logistics and ensure that deliveries are planned in a timely and efficient manner.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Monitors daily manpower planning for logistics, deliveries and planning
- Ensures enough number of lorries, drivers and helpers available for scheduled deliveries.
- If case of absenteeism, demonstrates the ability to re organise and manage manpower
- Able to judge forecasting deliveries and plan overtime accordingly
- Ensure that all lorries are being loaded accordingly with necessary documents
- Ensures that GMS, PRESELLING and HORECA pick lists are generated and sent on time to store.
- Follow up of scheduled deliveries.
- Liaise with Salesman, Sales Manager, and Clients in case of issues.
- Makes sure proper follow up is being done with store and production for shortage.
- Proper filing in log book of pick lists on daily basis with acknowledgement of storekeepers.
- Ability to response to all queries from clients and salesman about deliveries
- Ensures that that pick lists are delivered in correct order by delivery clerks.
- Ensures that invoices and delivery notes are being done based on each sales order.
- Follow daily planning schedule.
- Ensures that all invoices are delivered as per planning schedule to respective drivers.
- Ensures that each despatch is well updated as per planning schedule to respective drivers and helpers
Qualifications & Experience:
High School Certificate
Diploma in Logistics/Planning would constitute an advantage
Quick problem solver
Sound decision making skills
At least 3 years as Logistics/Planning Officer
