Offshore Commercial are looking for a motivated Payroll Administrator to join their growing team, located at Beau Plan. The ideal candidate should have experience in all aspects of payroll administration, with knowledge of Guernsey, Jersey and UK payroll legislation.
Payroll Responsibilities
- Accurately processing monthly payrolls using payroll software, in line with procedures for given client, and adhering to strict deadlines
- Inputting payments into payment platform
- Submit and pay ETI/ SS/ ITIS/ RTI returns within required statutory deadlines.
- Ensure all other statutory/ regulatory payroll reporting is completed within the timeframes required e.g. P45/ P60 etc.
- Pro-actively answer queries from clients
- Assist the Payroll Managers with on-boarding new payroll clients
- Develop good relationships with clients, including understanding their business practices and specific payroll needs.
Required skills and experience
- At least 1 years’ experience within payroll administration role
- Knowledge of payroll legislation for the UK, Jersey, Guernsey & IOM
- Strong IT skills, including a good working knowledge of Excel
- Experience using payroll software and online payments platforms
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines
- A flexible attitude to work and the ability to work as part of a small team
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, self-review and adapt to change
