The purpose of the role involves providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to the Finance team. This role will be responsible for verifying and reconciling of invoices, issuing of payments, as well as monitoring bank movements.

 

This job role is open as temporary replacement for 6 months. 

Main Duties

  • Day to day verifications/processing of invoices and payment requests.
  • Loading of payments in multiple currencies.
  • Performing checks to confirm completeness of payments.
  • Maintain records of daily payments
  • Ownership of banks and reporting anomalies in banking transactions
  • Ensure suppliers are paid on time as per due date.
  • Support the Senior Financial Manager and Team Leader to deliver strategic initiatives
  • Responsible to ensure accurate financial record keeping and filing of all support, ready for any audits
  • Adhere to finance deadlines and reporting requirements
  • Continued analysis and review of current and new systems, resolve exceptions caused by system errors
  • Adherence to payment process flow/Treasury SOP
  • Timely update of bank statements for services team
  • Maintenance of confidential information coming through payment system (salaries / bonuses / advances)
  • Any adhoc assigned duties

Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Diploma or degree in relevant field of Banking/Management/Accounting equivalent
  • Additional courses in relevant fields will be advantageous
  • 2 -3 years proven experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience in multinational company and dealing with multiple currencies will be advantageous.
  • Previous experience in banking field and Treasury Management
  • Proficient in data entry and management
  • Experience in payment system – Kyriba/Treasury Express/Bank IB Portals.
