We are looking for a Pastry Cook to join our passionate kitchen team at Le Suffren Hotel & Marina.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare & Bake Pastries: Prepare, mix, and bake an array of pastries, cakes, cookies, and other sweet treats.
- Creative Presentation: Decorate and present pastries to ensure an attractive and high-quality finish.
- Recipe Adherence & Development: Follow recipes closely and contribute ideas for seasonal or new dessert creations.
- Ingredient & Inventory Management: Keep track of inventory, assist in ordering supplies, and ensure proper storage of all baking ingredients.
- Cleanliness & Hygiene: Maintain a clean and organized work area, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and high-quality production, especially during busy service periods.
Qualifications & Experience:
- School Certificate or equivalent
- NTC 2 from Hotel School of Mauritius or equivalent
- Min 2 Years experience.
