Are you passionate about textiles, product innovation, and delivering excellence? We’re looking for a Product Developer to bring creativity, technical expertise, and precision to our team.

Objectives:

1. Deliver exceptional products by adhering to development timelines aligned with customer calendars and deadlines.
2. Develop products that meet both customer and RT Knits' standards.

Desired Education & Experience:

• Education: BSc in Fashion & Textile Design or Fashion Technology.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a Product Developer.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Study and implement customer requirements as outlined in technical manuals.
• Prepare and participate in feasibility meetings, presenting clear insights into customer needs.
  • Gather information on fabrics, accessories, and block fits to ensure complete technical packs.
  • Provide innovative solutions to challenges during development.
• Monitor all milestones in the Development Critical Path from receiving the Techpack to final style sealing.
• Coordinate and follow up on:
  • Yarn sourcing.
  • Fabric and accessory development.
  • Lab dip approvals and print/wash tests.
• Issue fabric order sheets for sampling and launch sample production requests.
• Collaborate with the costing team by providing all necessary data for selected styles.
• Support garment technicians and pattern makers during fitting sessions.
  • Analyze customer fit comments and secure approvals on specifications.
• Provide structured style and product information to the Merchandising team.
• Communicate technical details of developed fabrics and garments effectively with customers.
