The Operations Clerk will perform tasks related to Import, Export and Customs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Inform and advise shippers on shipments.
- Work according to the process flow with airlines and IATA Regulations.
- Workout shipment according to shippers’ requirements and follow up of shipment till delivery.
- Seek for approval of shipment from agents.
- Liaise with Accounts Department for credit approval.
- Issue invoices to both customers and agents upon final details received from Airlines.
- Remit all relevant shipping documents to shipper.
- Send pre-advise to Agents.
- Posting of Export dossiers in the Satellit System and handover to Team Leader for closure.
- Perform any Administrative task.
Qualification & Competencies:
- Higher School Certificate or any other qualifications acceptable to Management.
- 2 years working experience in the Logistics sector.
- Strong personality with excellent communication skills in both English and French.
- Should be creative, team player, proactive, resourceful and demonstrate professionalism.
- Should be ready to work at odd hours and during week ends/public holidays.
- Computer literate (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Holder of a valid driving licence would be an advantage.
