A Junior Desktop Support Engineer at Axess must ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems and providing prompt and effective technical assistance to our internal users.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide first-level technical support for desktop-related issues, including hardware, software, and network problems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems and software applications.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, including setting up new workstations and equipment.
  • Collaborate with senior support engineers to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Respond to support tickets and inquiries in a timely and customer-focused manner.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of support activities and solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong passion for technology and a desire to pursue a career in IT support.
  • Basic understanding of desktop operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS) and office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician)
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and network troubleshooting.
  • Previous internship or work experience in a desktop support role.
