First Capital Shared Services ltd in Ebene which predominantly engage in Banking Services is in search for Banking Operations Assistant or Officer to join the (1) Account Services Team or(2) Payments Team. See detailed Job description

 

1. Account Services Team

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review bank account related documents where applicable and ensure proper due diligence.
  • Capture of data from account opening file and input on Core Banking System.
  • Attend to requests or queries assigned to the Account Services Department.
  • Ensure to work in accordance with agreed SLA’s at all times.
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements to procedures and processes.
  • Provide MIS for Management reporting as required.
  • Attend any cognate duties that can be assigned.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Diploma/Degree Holder with 1 to 4 years proven experience in related field
  • Knowledge of the KYC & AML policies/requirements will constitute an advantage
  • Prior experience working with Finacle Core Banking System will be preferred
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines
  • Good communication/interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle workload
  • Strong influencing & persuasion skills
  • Be availble to work on Public Holidays

2. Payments Team

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Brief understanding of the usage of the different SWIFT Messages.
  • Sound Knowledge of the requirements of Inward and Outward Remittances is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Finacle Core banking platform is an advantage.
  • Be actively involved with day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure necessary training is attended with attention related to the job.
  • Ensure cut off time are adhered and follow up/chasers are done in an efficient manner.
  • Ensure good communication among the team and sharing of knowledge / skills with others.
  • Ensure high standards of accuracy are maintained.
  • Ensure controls are performed accurately.
  • Any other cognate duties as requested by the seniors.

 WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • A Diploma / bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Fresh Graduates willing to gain banking experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience will be an advantage.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Have a strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated to achieve goals to improve own and company performance.
  • Can manage tight deadline
  • Be availble to work on Public Holidays
  • Be ready to work on a shift system:

               10hr -19hr

               11hr -20hr

               12hr -21hr
