Marketing Assistant: (Email and Web Development)

 

Overall Purpose Of The Job

As a Marketing Assistant specialising in Email and Web Development within our Marketing Operations Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and execution of digital marketing initiatives across various platforms. You will work closely with the Group Digital and Regional Marketing Teams to create visually engaging content for web and email marketing automation. Additionally, you will assist in analysing campaign performance and providing insights to optimise marketing strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing automation:

o   Support the Operations Manager, offering expertise support and offering best practice guidance.

o   Create and manage automated marketing campaigns.

o   Develop and segment email lists for targeted marketing efforts.

o   Analyse and report on the performance of automated campaigns.

o   Implement and optimise lead scoring and nurturing processes.

o   Collaborate with the content team and regions to create engaging email templates and landing pages.

 

  • Web Development:

o   Collaborate with the design team and the Group Digital team to create visually appealing web layouts and graphics.

o   Design, develop, and maintain the company's website and landing pages.

o   Ensure the website is user-friendly, responsive, and optimised for search engines.

o   Implement and maintain web analytics to track user behaviour and improve website performance.

 

  • CRM Management:

o   Support the product, client services and marketing teams in managing customer relationship management (CRM) systems, such as Salesforce to segment audiences, personalise communications, and track customer interactions.

o   Assist in the creation and optimisation of email marketing campaigns, including template design, content formatting, A/B testing, and performance analysis.

 

  • Marketing Analytics:

o   Collect, analyse, and interpret data from various digital marketing channels, including web analytics, email metrics.

o   Generate regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs), monitor campaign effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement.

o   Provide insights and recommendations to optimise web and email campaigns to improve conversion rates and maximise ROI.

 

 

Job Profile

  • 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on marketing automation and or web development.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital media, graphic design, or related field.
  • Fluent in English with strong oral, presentation and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with web design principles, content management systems (e.g., SiteCore).
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Eloqua), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
