- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance
department.
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.
- Organise and oversee the schedule and work of maintenance staff.
- Evaluate systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
- Ensure maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
- Ensure proper follow-up of Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance Plan.
- Manage the physical plant, including equipment,refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical, and life safety systems.
- Work in collaboration with the Maintenance Manager to ensure adherence to SOP & Emergency policy of the hotel.
- Lead team as per Standard Operative procedures(SOP)
- Conduct OJTs & train staff
- Any other cognate duties as delegated by Reporting Line.
Core Profile:
• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing or any equivalent
qualifications.
• At least 2 years' experience as maintenance supervisor or
similar role.
• Strong technical knowledge in hotel equipment( hot & cold
kitchen equipment, water pump, chillers, laundry equipment &
boilers).
• Have a good understanding of all hotel operating procedures.
• Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations
would be an advantages.
• Excellent planning and leadership abilities.
• Excellent Communication and interpersonalskills
• Good communication skills in English & French (both written
and verbal.
• Computer literate.
