Maintenance Supervisor

New Goodwill Co. Ltd is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor who will assist the Manager in his daily duties and provide as well assistance in supervising repairs and maintenance of buildings.

Responsibilities:

Over whole Factory maintenance (mechanical),

Establish and maintain effective employee relations,

Planning of preventive maintenance of all machinery,

Repair and adjust machinery, equipment and building systems and replace bearings, belts, adjust tensions,

Inspect, grease machinery, equipment and building systems,

Dismantling and remounting machinery, equipment e.g: motors. pumps etc, replacing star wheels, cap dispensers, conveyor rollers etc,

Test caustic samples, top up caustic in caustic tank, top up salt in water softener, replacing worn out acid pails in neutralization pit,

Ensure installation and commissioning of equipment,

Be a technical support to the maintenance team during breakdowns,

Ensure all quality procedures are followed.

Experience:

3-5 years of experience in Mechanical/ Electromechanical field

Skills required:

Good analytical skills,

Basic knowledge on how to operate different equipment,

Welding,

IT Sofware Knowledge (Autocad, MAP, etc),

Electrical knowledge,

Ability to work independently,

Qualifications Required:

Certificate/ Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/ Or Degree

A valid Mauritian driving license

Forklift license
