Maintenance Manager

The job incumbent shall be responsible for the overall maintenance within the organisation, helping to minimize downtime, failure rates and to maximise equipment efficiency and productivity.

Job Description:

The job incumbent shall be responsible for the overall maintenance within the organisation, helping to minimize downtime, failure rates and to maximise equipment efficiency and productivity. The job holder shall also be responsible for maintaining and repairing the industrial machinery, plant equipment, tools and system used in manufacturing, engineering and other industrial production processes.

Responsibilities:

• Monitors and continually improves maintenance processes
• Ensures that periodic and preventive maintenance are appropriately scheduled and accomplished
• Ensures emergency troubleshooting and maintenance support are readily available as needed
• Provides engineering support in terms of plant engineering
• Monitors the expenses and revenues attributable to the department monthly
• Maintains maintenance records and provide information to Management as and when required

Profile of the Ideal Candidates

• A Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical)
• A minimum of 5 years work experience in similar position in a dynamic business environment

Additional Information

• Working days and hours – From Monday to Friday – 07.00 – 16.00 / Saturdays – 07.00 – 12.00
• Due to operational requirements, the Maintenance Manager will be on an on-call duty basis 24/7
