Duties and Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire/life satefy of a project.
  • Responsible for implementations and monitoring of all MEP related works at site as per approved drawings, methods and safety, ensuring all activities are well planned and coordinated.
  • Estimates, prepares, and requests assignment of resources such as workforce, materials, consumables, equipment, tools required for all MEP and related works, before execution.
  • Plans and analyses all possible construction methodologies and recommends the best options to the Senior MEP Coordinator for approval, before execution at site.
  • Interprets construction drawings and studies the contract documents and applicable standards or specifications before execution of any jobs.
  • Coordinates and provides engineering and technical support to all the Mechanical workgroups at the site.
  •  Plans the execution of all MEP related works and coordinates the works with Electrical and civil groups.
  • Assign targets for accomplishments and ensure objectives are met on a daily basis for all MEP tasks at the site.
  • Be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire/life safety of a project.
  • Offer technical input related to the cost and feasibility of various designs with the design team/consultant.
  • Coordinate MEP activities, materials procurement and other related activities with Site Manager and Site Team.
  • Work closely with all members of the project team and subcontractors.
  • Supervise the MEP works performed by the subcontractors with regular site inspections.
  • Inspect subcontractors work for quality and ensure it adheres to the project`s specifications.
  • Schedule and witness all preliminary and final testing and commissioning at all stages of the works.
  • Ensure that the M&E subcontracts are executed within budget.
  • Resolve all technical and site issues.
  • Ensure compliance with the highest safety standards

Requirements

  • Diploma /Degree in Engineering Field.
  • Fully computer literate. 
  • MS Office knowledge.
  • Flexible to work odd hours within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
