Medine Group is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our Legal team.

 

Our Legal Assistant will assist with the preparation and management of legal documents, ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, and provide general administrative support to the legal department. The duties and responsibilities of the Legal Assistant are as follows: 

  • Provide support in relation to Data Protection and Intellectual Property matters across the Group.
  • Actively involved in the department’s AML/CFT duties and responsibilities.
  • Drafting and vetting of a range of contracts and documents.
  • Stay up to date with legislative amendments and circulating such amendments across the Group where relevant.
  • Maintain the Group’s Litigation register and schedule all associated tasks and events.
  • Communicate any relevant documents to external legal advisors.
  • Manage the schedule of the Head of the department, and provide any administrative support to the latter.
  • Ensure that all legal files are properly up to date and compiled with all relevant documents
The ideal candidate should possess : 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law,
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of law sources.
  • Excellent writing and oral skills in English and French Language.
  • Critical thinking.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Good computer literacy.
  • Result and service driven.
