🔎 About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join RIU Hotels & Resorts as a Kitchen Technician. In this role, you will be integral in looking after all of our kitchen equipment and repairs. You’ll leverage your expertise in Kitchen Maintenance to contribute to our commitment to excellence and innovation.

💼 What You’ll Do 

• Ensure that all kitchen equipments are properly maintained and service to upkeep all equipments and to avoid breakdown
• Perform preventive maintenance and completes the turn-over quickly and efficiently in order to satisfy and meet the Guest needs
• Repair, maintain and provide technical attention to all electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems of the Hotel – freezer, fridges, ice makers, fan coil units, chiller, etc.
• Respond to breakdowns of equipments and being available in case of emergency and applying the appropriate action as per Hotel policy and standards
• Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and employees’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
• Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures

✔️ What We’re Looking For

•  Someone who has a passion for hospitality and creating a seamless experience for guests.
•  Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
•  You should have excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
