Role Overview:

The Key Account Specialist is responsible for maintaining long term key customers by comprehending their requirements and gathering required data. Assisting both the clients and the Key Account Managers, the Key Account Specialist plays a primal role in organising the flow of data between client and Key Account Manager and makes sure that all tasks/requests are properly being tracked to satisfy clients’ expectations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Key Account Managers for client and employee onboarding across Africa.
  • Update client files, implement new worker details, and manage necessary changes on the company’s ERP system.
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables during onboarding, offboarding, and changes in salary or contracts.
  • Respond promptly to client queries and assist with new requests and proposals.
  • Coordinate with in-country partners for medical, life insurance, pension schemes, and expatriate immigration processes.
  • Handle client requests for staff terminations.
  • Develop proposals addressing client needs and objectives.
  • Provide accurate guidance on the company’s services, including Payroll Solutions, Employment Outsourcing, Offshore Contracts, Immigration Processes, and Insurance.
  • Monitor and manage the portfolio of clients and workers to ensure all necessary contracts, SLAs, work orders, and addendums are in place.
  • Perform any other ad hoc tasks requested by clients or Key Account Managers.

 

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the insurance industry.
  • Strong experience with invoicing, billing, and insurance processes is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of African labor laws and employment practices is an advantage.
