Veranda Tamarin is seeking for a dynamic and talented Junior Sous Chef. Come and join our tribe !
Assist in all the kitchen operations as per SOPs
Main duties:
- Ensure respective Team Members are operating as per Quality Management System
- Ensure respective Team Members are operating as per S&H regulations and policies
- Assist superior to plan and organise respective section activities
- Prepare and issue work schedules to respective Team Members
- Supervise and coordinate overall section’s activities to ensure effective “mise-en-place”
- Control quality of food by tasting and verifying texture and consistency
- Control the cleaning of the section and the closing of the kitchen/pastry
Candidate's Profile:
- 5 Years experience in hotels as CDP
- Computer literacy will be an advantage
- Enthusiastic professional with a dynamic personality
- Fluent in English and/or French both written and spoken
