Industrial Engineering Officer

The Industrial Engineering Officer shall be reporting to the Head IE.

What you will be doing:

• Create and apply innovative systems and ideas to enhance productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost reduction in makeup production

• Introduce and improve new de-skill methods to simplify operations

• Use various lean tools to optimize processes

• Review product specifications and collaborate with relevant departments/sections to determine the best approach

• Coordinate with the pre-production and WSO teams to complete all pre-production and preparation tasks before starting bulk production

• Evaluate the new product style with the technical team to find alternative ways (Automation, de-skill, or new method) to boost bulk production

• Determining and calculating the standard allowed minute (SAM) for every operation & Eliminating non-valued activities in the process flow.

What are we looking for?

• SC with credit in Maths, English and French.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the garment making environment
• Good knowledge of garment manufacturing processes
• Knowledge about Time and Method Study and Work place design.
• Knowledge about the different types of sewing machines, their purposes and features.
• Good communication skills and computer literate
