IT Trainee

As a Trainee IT, you will support the Information Technology department by assisting in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of new applications and releases.

Your role:

• Act as the first point of contact for end-users seeking technical assistance.
• Provide timely and effective technical support via email, phone, or in-person.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues at the basic level.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of support activities, including issue resolution steps and troubleshooting procedures.
• Contribute to the creation and updating of user guides and FAQs to facilitate self-service support.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand new applications and software releases.
• Assist in the execution of UAT plans and test cases to ensure the functionality and quality meet the specified requirements.
• Document and report any issues, defects, or discrepancies identified during UAT.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and stay updated on the latest technologies.
• Work closely with other IT team members to share knowledge and enhance technical skills.
• Collaborate with end-users to gather feedback and insights for continuous improvement of IT services.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate support teams when necessary.

Your profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of IT principles, systems, and applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
