Our client in the education sector is seeking to recruit a dynamic HR Executive who will play an important role within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations, as well as compliance with the Pay Research Bureau Report recommendations on conditions of work and salary scales.
- Manage and supervise the HR / administrative department staff.
- Oversee recruitment and selection processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring new employees.
- Ensure that the on boarding of new recruits is done as per established internal procedures.
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain HR records, including employee files, compensation, and benefits information.
- Administer compensation and payroll programs and ensure accurate processing of payroll.
- Develop employee recognition and rewards programs (excluding financial rewards).
- Oversee and manage employee wellness and safety programs.
- Manage and resolve employee complaints and grievances.
- Negotiate and manage labour contracts and collective bargaining agreements.
- Assist Management on disciplinary procedures.
- Work in close collaboration with the legal adviser of the company in the case of industrial disputes.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve company goals and improve HR processes.
- Stay updated on current industry trends and best practices in HR management.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with government agencies and employee unions.
- Assist in the preparation of Employee Handbook and Code of Ethics/Conduct.
Profile:
- BSc degree in Human Resources Management or any relevant qualification.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
- Possess a solid understanding of Industrial Relations and a strong knowledge of Law.
- Be well-versed in salary review mechanisms across both public and private sectors.
- A proven knowledge of the PRB conditions of work would be an advantage.
- Operations knowledge and some strategic HR insights would be highly beneficial.
