Hostess-Paradis Beachcomber

Job Duties:

Seeks/ obtains instructions from Supervisor on service and reservations for the day;
Welcomes and greets guests promptly and politely;
Responsible for seating guests at their table, taking into account any preferences or special requests they may have;
Presents menu to guest and may advise them about food and service, as when necessary;
Plans reservation as per guest request and allocate tables;
Converses with guests and provides relevant assistance or suggestions.

Candidate Profile:

Higher School Certificate or equivalent;
Previous working experience in related field would be an advantage;
Good communication and organisational skills;
Should possess a pleasant and outgoing personality;
Able and willing to perform odd hours of work including Sundays, public holidays and cyclonic days;
Fluent in written and spoken English and French;
Knowledge of a third language will be definite advantage.
